Well this song makes total sense to me, i feel really down all of a sudden :( I need something new in my life but where to find this new thing, hmm god knows! If anyone could help me then please do...

I think the main problem is men!!! Bloody men they annoy me SO much, they want one thing one minute and something different in the next minute...sooo i give up!! well ive had a moan! Bed time :)

4) Here is the final outcome of my feather and t-shirt, i am very pleased with the outcome and the way all the embroidery threads fall on the t-shirt. I did not have any problems during the process of making my embellishment for my t-shirt. As i had previously sampled this on my planning page in my sketchbook.

3) I then began to thread my embroidery tassels. I achieved this by looping the embroidery thread around a knitted stitch and knotting to keep it secure.

PROBLEM,

Too clustered and i feel it would benefit another neon colour being introduced.

2) I used interfacing to stiffen the base of the knitted feather shape, ready to machine stitch the stem on using a zig-zag stitch using a domestic sewing machine. You can clearly see in the image above the green zig-zag stitch in the center of the feather.

To achieve this shape i increased my stitches by one stitch on every line to widen the shape of the feather. When i hit the middle of the pattern i started to decrease my stitches by one on every row. This gave me the desired shape.

PROBLEM,

I did not like the shape of the feather sample because it was not as i desired, to rectify this i folded the edges under and hand stay stitched to create my desired shape.

Here i have sampled with shrink plastic, the base of plastic was shaped to a feather and i then used a special hairdryer to shrink it. I then cut long small pieces of the plastic to fill the base of the feather, which have curled and twisted which give a great effect. This was very experimental however i would of had difficulty attaching it to the shirt and the outcome in this case was not apt for what i was after.

press play above to view the video of my peer and i experimenting with spray paints, My inspiration came from Alexander Mcqueen's S/S collection because he used technology to embellish his garment. i have been researching his experiment as part of my current project and above is the outcome of a recreation using what i had to hand. i was pleased with the result and it was a fun task to do as each outcome would vary.

The first picture is of one model wearing all of the garments of the collection, the model stood on a rotating platform while Victor and Rolf took one garment off her and dressed the next model ready to walk down the catwalk. Well my life is at standstill at the moment, I feel like I'm not getting anywhere!! (hmm its not good) I really want to know where my life is heading but I know that's never going to happen!!! I can relate to this picture because I really feel like doing this sometimes, sitting by a random tree and just think my brains off. I would love to have a crystal ball to see the future (I wonder if they actually see the future, well that another thing I should look up!!) Ahhh how sad am I!! I make myself laugh at times :) hey that's all that counts ayy if I make myself laugh nothing else matters!!

I'm totally in love with Mr Gerard Butler, the limelight has come of the Bieber and gone straight to the Butler!! It's day 12 of being poorly sick and all i seem to be doing is cheering myself up with films with Mr Gerard Butler in...The poster has come down of Bieber and the gorgeous Gerard has the wall all to himself, he should be honoured! ;) Thinking on, how can i go from youth to maturity in my taste of men, is this related to my illness!?

Alexander McQueen S/S 1999 Collection.

I am drawn to this particular collection of Alexander McQueen's S/S collection because he has used technology to produce a fine intricate piece of art. I have recreated this method by using spray paints a friend and a white garment. I sprayed black paint onto white/cream clothing while my good friend 'Rhiannon' twirled round slowly, to try and recreate McQueen's effect. I videoed the process and im pleased with the results. I have just been browsing on style bubble blog and came across this little number!! Lina Scheynius is a photographer from Sweden and is inspired by collections that are Soft, Sensual and are dream-like imagery. Below the image of the women sitting on a wooden ledge there is a quote that personally i really like and it is something i would say myself!! "My absolute favorite subject is my own life and the people in it." This quote really reflects my life because me, my family and friends are the most important thing in my life, i never let things get on top of me. I feel its way to much effort to stress and worry about things in life, I live my life as if I'm going to die tomorrow i never waste time, if the opportunity is there take it and keep it held tight because you will probably never have the chance again. Just go with the Flo with life, because whats the point in getting yourself down.

2010...

Well 2010 has been a crap year up to now...but things are starting to look up :) A few weekends ago i took a a trip to Liverpool with the besty, and we got the courage to take a trip to speed dating!! It was HALARIOUS...The funniest bit was we had little bells so we could ding the creeps we didn't like or just old men (pervs!!) Me and friend were sat next to each other when these really hot guys walked in, at the time i was drinking some lovely orange juice and i nearly died, it totally went down the wrong way!! They were jaw dropping, this one guy had really geeky glasses on...ooft well that did it for me and knew i wouldn't be dinging my bell on!! He was even more yummy than my orange juice!! So as the day went on we finally got round to talking to these guys, i got so hot and all red (talk about embarrassing!) As we got talking he got even more lovely...before i knew the 5 minutes were up and we had to move on, so we agreed to meet when it had all finished so we could go for a drink and a chat, by this time my friend has totally got the other guy in the bag!! So when the whole thing was over we met up with these guys and we went for a drink...i polished of two bottles of wine by this time i could hardly walk (good times!!) The train ride home was sooo funny cause me and kell were both hammered raving around on the train i think people were sooo annoyed with us, what the hell..were young and only live once!! I really recommend speed dating its the best day out Ive had in ages :)

While browsing through style bubble blog i came across these funky eye catching rings!! I have tryed to make one myself but it didn't work out unfortunately...i thought it would be a cool idea for a funky outfit because the colours really stand out.

I studied Equine for 3 years before i moved onto studying Fashion, i have my own pony (Dougal). I took this picture (on the blackberry ;) ) when we had all the snow and i personally think that it should be a calender piccy!! This little man is my world :)

My peers and I were set a task to design and make a hat, which would be entered into a hat competition in Stockport. We took a visit to Stockports's traditional market to gain inspiration as the task was to find inspiration for a traditional market. I took a picture of the street of the market to gain inspiration of a busy market place.

I entered my hat into the competition a few weeks ago and I received a letter from the Hat works museum weeks later...Telling me that my hat hadnt be chosen for the top 10 but they would like to show it in there exhibition between June-November. (Which I think its pretty cool!!)

I am currenty doing a project at college, and it is based on a parrot theme for a BOSS orange competion...i found this picture of the dress and it instantly reminded me of a parrots beak...i am also really attracted to the bold colours and the shapes.
